I made a small mistake today.
Hoy cometí un pequeño error.
It was a tiny thing.
Fue algo muy pequeño.
But I kept thinking about it.
Pero no dejaba de pensar en ello.
My mind repeated it like a scratch.
Mi mente lo repetía como un rasguño.
I wanted to fix it.
Quería arreglarlo.
But I could not go back.
Pero no podía volver atrás.
So I sat with the feeling.
Así que me senté con esa sensación.
It was uncomfortable.
Era incómodo.
Then I saw an old painting.
Luego vi una pintura antigua.
The artist left a visible brushstroke.
El artista dejó una pincelada visible.
It was not perfect.
No era perfecta.
But it made the painting real.
Pero hacía la pintura real.
