I sat in class today wanting to ask.
今日の授業で、聞きたいことがあった。
My hand stayed on the desk.
でも手は机の上に置いたまま。
I feared looking foolish in front of others.
バカに見えるのが怖かった。
But not asking felt worse.
でも聞かないほうがもっと辛い。
It is a quiet kind of bravery.
それは静かな勇気だ。
You admit you don't know something.
知らないことを認めること。
That opens a door to learning.
それが学びへの扉を開く。
Each question is a small step forward.
質問ひとつが小さな前進だ。
I want to take more of those steps.
もっとそんな一歩を踏み出したい。
Maybe tomorrow my hand will rise.
明日は手が上がるかもしれない。
