I saw an old friend today.
मैंने आज एक पुराने दोस्त को देखा।
We did not meet for five years.
हम पाँच साल से नहीं मिले थे।
At first, I felt a little shy.
पहले तो मुझे थोड़ी शर्म आई।
But then we smiled and hugged.
लेकिन फिर हम मुस्कुराए और गले मिले।
Her voice sounded the same.
उसकी आवाज़ वैसी ही थी।
We sat at a small coffee shop.
हम एक छोटी कॉफ़ी शॉप पर बैठे।
Time felt strange but warm.
समय अजीब लेकिन गर्म लगा।
She told me about her travels.
उसने मुझे अपनी यात्राओं के बारे में बताया।
I talked about my family.
मैंने अपने परिवार के बारे में बात की।
We both changed a little inside.
हम दोनों अंदर से थोड़े बदल गए थे।
But the bond stayed the same.
लेकिन रिश्ता वैसा ही रहा।
I am glad we met again.
मुझे खुशी है कि हम फिर मिले।
